The RXQEL98L-BE-01 3 26D RHR is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device with L-01 Lever trim in Satin Chrome (US26D/626), sized for 3' doors. Classroom Function — outside lever is locked until unlocked by key, relocks automatically when door closes. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Request to Exit + QEL — Combines Request to Exit monitoring with Quiet Electric Latch Retraction for full access control integration. 24VDC.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Factory set RHR, field reversible.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
