Schlage 09-449-17L-626 L Series Lever Trim Set, 17 Lever with L Escutcheon, Satin Chrome
This is a Schlage Distributor Pack trim set for the L Series mortise lock: the 17 (Sparta) lever on the L escutcheon, in 626 satin chrome. One unit is one set: the outside trim and the inside trim. It is trim only. It is not a lock.
Schlage builds a Distributor Pack lock from separate parts: a lock case, a trim set, an armor front, a strike and, on keyed functions, a cylinder. This is the trim set. Put it on a Distributor Pack case and you have the lock without waiting on a factory-built one.
What is in the box: outside and inside lever trim with the L escutcheon, mounting screws, mounting plates, spring cages, L mounting posts and a strike box.
What is not in the box: the lock case, the cylinder, the armor front and the strike. Each is sold separately.
Fits these functions: L/LV9070, L/LV9080, L/LV9092, L9465. For 1-3/4" thick doors only. Both sides come in the same lever, the same L escutcheon and the same finish: Schlage does not make split designs or split finishes in this pack.

A: Both. One unit is a set of outside and inside trim.
Q: Does it come with the lock or a cylinder?
A: No. The lock case, cylinder, armor front and strike are each sold separately. The strike box is in the set.
Q: Is the lever handed?
A: No. Schlage lists the 17 lever without a handing requirement, so the same set fits a left- or right-hand door.
Q: Will it go on an L Series lock that is already on the door?
A: If the lock is one of the functions listed above and the door is 1-3/4" thick, yes. Check the function number stamped on the case face.
