The Sargent 1256-8874G-24V-ETJ-RHR-10 is a fire-rated Grade 1 rim exit device from the 80 Series for 48" openings with Fail Secure function. UL listed for fire-rated openings up to 3 hours.

Fire Rated (12- prefix) — This device is UL listed for fire-rated openings. Do NOT substitute a non-fire-rated device (8- prefix) on a fire-rated opening — your fire marshal will require removal and replacement.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The most expensive exit device mistake we see? Ordering concealed vertical rod for a door that's not prepped for it. CVR devices require internal routing channels in the door — you can't retrofit a standard hollow metal door. If the door isn't prepped, go surface vertical rod instead.
