The Ives 3SP1 is a 3-knuckle spring full-mortise butt hinge measuring 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". It mortises into the edge of the door and the frame rabbet, carrying standard weight swinging doors on interior and exterior openings. The spring action returns the door toward closed on its own, useful where a self-closing leaf is wanted without a separate closer. Finish: Bright Chrome. Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.1.
