The 4040SE is the Smoke/Electrified version of LCN's heavy-duty 4040 platform, pairing the rugged 4000-series body with an electromagnetic hold-open that releases on a fire-alarm or power-loss signal for life-safety openings. This is a surface-mounted closer. Configured here as the LCN 4040SE with long arm in Statuary Bronze. Adjustable closing and latch speeds let you tune the door to the opening, and the back-check protects the closer and frame from wind or abuse. LCN has been the door-closer of choice for North American commercial buildings for decades.
