The Best 45HW7DEU16M605RQE12V Series mortise lock provides toughest electromechanical security for your building. The 40HW series provides a way to lock and unlock the door from a remote location for safety, security, or convenience through an individual switch, switch lock, relay, access control system, or other automatic control system. The Best 40HW series are certified to ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 operation.
DEU - Unlocked - fail secure: Latch operated by outside lever when power is applied to the solenoid and outside key. Inside lever Latchbolt is deadlocked by an auxiliary latch. Outside lever locked by removing power from solenoid. Inside lever can not be locked.
