Product Description
4902-02-630 Adams Rite 4902 Short Box Strike — Radius, Standard Lip
The 4902 is the short strike Adams Rite builds for its narrow stile deadlatches. It is not a lock. It is the box the latchbolt drops into on the jamb side — a short box strike with a dust box and a mounting plate, so the pocket stays clean and the bolt has something solid to land in. When the old strike is worn, bent or chewed up by years of a door being forced, this is the part that goes back in the jamb.
Adams Rite lists it as strike size 2, "Mortised (4902) 2-5/8"", in the How-to-Order tables for the 4510 and 4530 standard duty deadlatches and the 4900 heavy duty deadlatch. The 4902-02-630 is the radius standard-lip short box strike, in finish 630 satin stainless steel.

Pro-Installer FAQ
Q: 4901 or 4902 — which one do I need?
A: The 4901 is the flush-mount strike, mortised with a dust box, 4-5/8" long. The 4902 is the short box strike, 2-5/8" long, with a mounting plate. Match what is in the jamb now, or what the deadlatch order calls for as strike size 1 or 2.
Q: Flat, radius or extended lip?
A: Flat (-01) and radius (-02) match the deadlatch faceplate shape on a standard jamb. The extended-lip dashes (-03 to -21) are for center-hung doors on wide jambs; each dash is a set jamb width and lip dimension 'A'.
Q: Will the 119 or 121 finish match my anodized door?
A: Adams Rite lists 119 to match 335 black anodized and 121 to match 313 dark bronze anodized. 630 is satin stainless steel.
