The Ives 5BB1SC is a 5-knuckle ball bearing full-mortise butt hinge measuring 5". It mortises into the edge of the door and the frame rabbet, carrying standard to heavy weight swinging doors on interior and exterior openings. The ball-bearing knuckles run quietly and resist sag under frequent use, making this hinge a good fit for higher-traffic doors. Square-corner (SC) leaves drop straight into a square mortise pocket, the common cut for hollow-metal frames. Finish: Dark Bronze. Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.1.
