660-12V-PRL HES Multi Purpose Electro-Mechanical Cabinet Lock with Preload
The HES 660-12V-PRL is the pre-load version of the 660 cabinet lock at 12 volts. The pre-load feature is for cabinet doors that push against the latch when closed — think spring-loaded server rack doors or pressurized enclosures. Without pre-load, the solenoid fights the door pressure and may not retract cleanly. With it, the mechanism handles that resistance and releases smoothly every time.
