Product Description
The Sargent 8239-LNE-26D is a 8200 Series Classroom Security Intruder Deadbolt mortise lock in Satin Chrome (US26D/626). A key from either side — outside or inside — projects or retracts a 1-inch throw deadbolt, and projecting that deadbolt is the only thing that locks the outside lever. Sargent’s published function text states: “Trim inside retracts both latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously, and unlocks outside trim.” ANSI F33 (per Sargent’s published catalog).
Includes a standard conventional mortise cylinder (keyed). Need it without a cylinder? Order the LC- less-cylinder variant of this part instead.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: On high-security jobs, pair this with a Sargent Signature Series cylinder for restricted keyway control. The tolerances on Sargent cylinders are tighter than most competitors.
