Product Description
The Sargent 8239-LNF-3 is a 8200 Series Classroom Security Intruder Deadbolt mortise lock in Bright Brass. A key from either side — outside or inside — projects or retracts a 1-inch throw deadbolt, and projecting that deadbolt is the only thing that locks the outside lever. Sargent’s published function text states: “Trim inside retracts both latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously, and unlocks outside trim.” ANSI F33 (per Sargent’s published catalog).
Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: The 8200 Series is Sargent's flagship mortise lock — you'll find it in hospitals, universities, and government buildings across the country. The cast stainless steel chassis handles millions of cycles without the wobble you get from stamped steel competitors.
