The Sargent 8267-26D is a 8200 Series Institutional Privacy mortise LOCKBODY ONLY in Satin Chrome (US26D/626). Inside thumbturn locks the outside lever. Emergency key override from outside. Inside always free.
This is the lockbody only. No lever, no rose or escutcheon and no cylinder are included. To complete the opening you must also order Sargent 8200 Series mortise trim and a mortise cylinder. If you want the complete lock, order the trimmed part number instead.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: If you're bidding against Schlage L-Series on a commercial job, the 8200 wins on durability. The Sargent chassis is thicker gauge and the hub mechanism has less play after heavy use.
