Pro-Installer FAQ
Q: Does it come with working keys?
A: It ships zero bitted, so it is not set to a working key. A locksmith pins the cylinder to your Russwin system.
Q: Do you have other keyways?
A: ABUS builds the 83/45 OB in other keyways, such as Schlage C (300), Sargent (700) and Yale (100). Those are separate items.
Q: Can I change the shackle?
A: Yes. The 83/45 takes replacement shackles such as the 8002 (2 in.) and 8009 (6 in.), changed with the ABUS 83414A tool.
