The Von Duprin 8847EO-F-US10B-LHR is a narrow stile concealed vertical rod exit device that hides the rods inside the door stile for a clean, unobstructed look. Exit Only — push bar operation from inside only, no outside trim. Free egress from inside. No cylinder required for this function.
The 8847 provides top-and-bottom latching with concealed rods — nothing visible on the door face. The cleanest option for pairs of narrow stile glass doors. This is a handed device — verify LHR or RHR before ordering. UL listed for fire exit hardware — no mechanical dogging on fire-rated models. ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Fire-rated 8847-F models are the most common spec for pairs of narrow stile fire-rated glass doors. They're only available in Exit Only function and are always handed. Every 8847-F needs proper strike alignment at both the header and threshold.
