900-8F Von Duprin Power Supply Board — 8 Fuse Protected Outputs
Expert's Note: The 900-8F gives you 8 individually fuse protected outputs. Why does that matter? When one device shorts or a wire gets pinched, it blows its own fuse — the other seven devices keep running. On a large installation with 6-8 devices on one supply, the alternative is one fault taking down everything. The downside vs the 900-8P? You have to physically replace the blown fuse. That means a service call. If you want auto-resetting protection instead, look at the 900-8P with PTC outputs.
Plugs into any Von Duprin PS900 series power supply. For fire alarm integration, get the 900-8F-FA.
