The 98NL-OP-F-US4-3 is a Von Duprin 98 Series rim exit device in Satin Brass (US4/606), sized for 3' doors. Night Latch with Optional Pull — outside lever locks and unlocks by key with optional pull handle. Inside always free for egress. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: When quoting 98 rim devices, check the frame for strike compatibility. The 98 uses a standard rim strike, but on hollow metal frames you may need a longer lip strike if the frame rabbet is deeper than standard. Most callbacks on rim devices are strike alignment — get it right at install.
