Schlage ALX80L-SAT-626 ALX Series Storeroom Lever Lock, Less Cylinder
The Schlage ALX80L-SAT-626 is an ALX Series Grade 2 cylindrical lever lock in the storeroom function, with Saturn levers in 626 satin chrome. It is sold less cylinder: it takes a Schlage conventional cylinder, which you order separately and key to your system.
How the Storeroom function works: The outside lever is always locked. The key from outside retracts the latch. The inside lever is always free for exit.
Where it goes: Storerooms, closets, mechanical and utility rooms: doors that should never be left unlocked.
It fits a standard cylindrical door prep with a 2-3/4" backset. ALX is the modular Schlage line: chassis, function and lever come as separate kits, so a lock on the door can change function or lever later without replacing the whole lock.

A: So you can put your own keyed cylinder in it and keep the door on your building key system. Order a Schlage conventional cylinder with it.
Q: Will it fit my door?
A: It fits a standard cylindrical lock prep at 2-3/4" backset. If your old lock is a Schlage cylindrical lever lock, the prep is almost always the same.
