Product Description
B572-626-OS-OCC Schlage B500 Series Coin Turn Door Bolt with Outside Occupancy Indicator, 626 Satin Chrome
The Schlage B572-626-OS-OCC is a B500 Series keyless deadbolt: a coin turn on the outside, a thumbturn on the inside, and an indicator on the outside trim that reads VACANT or OCCUPIED. There is no key and no cylinder.
How it works: The thumbturn inside throws and retracts the deadbolt. From the outside, a flat screwdriver or a coin in the coin turn also retracts the bolt, so staff can open the door in an emergency. The outside indicator shows the message on a white background when the bolt is retracted and on a red background when it is thrown.
Where it goes: Single-occupant restrooms, changing rooms, lactation and quiet rooms, exam rooms: any door where people outside need to see at a glance whether the room is in use.

Pro-Installer FAQ
Q: Can someone get in from outside if they need to?
A: Yes. A flat screwdriver or a coin in the outside coin turn retracts the bolt. That is the point of the coin turn on a restroom or changing room door.
Q: Is there a key version?
A: Yes. Schlage sells the indicator on keyed B500 deadbolts too. Call us if you need one keyed to your system.
Q: Not sure which indicator message you need?
A: Schlage makes VACANT / OCCUPIED and UNLOCKED / LOCKED, inside or outside. Call us at (877) 365-5625 and we will confirm before you order.
