Product Description
C606 A 622 Falcon 6-Pin SFIC Core — Combinated, A Keyway, Flat Black
You pull a core to rekey a door and find the replacement you ordered is a lever lock, not a core — or worse, it is a core in the wrong keyway and it will not seat in the housing you already have on the door. The Falcon C606 A 622 is the plain answer to that: a 6-pin small-format interchangeable core, factory-combinated in the A keyway, Flat Black coated. It drops into any standard SFIC housing — mortise, rim, knob, lever, padlock, cabinet — and turns as soon as it seats.
How This One Ships
This is a stock combinated core: Falcon pins and keys it at the factory and ships it with two operating keys, so it works the day it arrives. It is not keyed to your building.
If you need a different bitting on every door (KD), cores keyed alike into an existing system of yours, or master keying, none of those are this SKU — they are a keying order placed against the factory. Call (877) 365-5625 before you buy so we scope it right the first time.

Compliance & Codes
Small-format interchangeable core for use in SFIC-prepped commercial hardware. Falcon does not publish an ANSI/BHMA grade or ANSI code against this core on the distributor data sheet, so none is claimed here — the grade of the opening is set by the housing the core seats in, not by the core.
What's in the Box
One Falcon C606 A 622 6-pin SFIC core, combinated, with two operating keys. No control key is included. You need an SFIC control key for this core to pull it from a housing — the control key works a second shear line and has completely different bitting from the operating keys. Without one you cannot remove the core without pulling the lock apart.
Pro-Installer FAQ
Q: Will this seat in a BEST housing?
A: Yes. This is a standard small-format interchangeable core in the A keyway, and the SFIC figure-8 profile is common across manufacturers — BEST, Arrow, Falcon, Schlage, KSP, Kaba Ilco, Sargent and Hager housings all take it. Match the pin count and the keyway letter to the system you are replacing into.
Q: Do I need the control key, and is it the same as the operating key?
A: You need it to swap the core, and no, it is not the same. The control key and the operating keys are cut to different bitting. The control key lifts a second shear line that releases the core's retaining lug. Order the control key separately.
