Product Description
CXA99L-NL-03 3 28 LHR Von Duprin Motorized Latch (CXA) 99 Series Lever Night Latch Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device 28
The CXA99L-NL-03 3 28 LHR is a Von Duprin 99 Series Rim exit device in 28, sized for 3' doors. Night Latch — outside lever locks and unlocks by key, inside always free for egress. Ships less cylinder — order a mortise cylinder separately to match your existing keyway.
Chexit Alarm — Chexit delayed egress alarm — provides a 15-second delay with audible alarm before allowing exit. 24VDC.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Factory set LHR, field reversible.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Rim devices are visible on the door interior, so they're typically used on utilitarian doors (back exits, service doors, storage rooms) rather than customer-facing entrances. But they're reliable, affordable, and quick to install — spec them when aesthetics aren't the priority.
