The Accentra (formerly Yale) nexTouch Gen 3 is a Grade 1 keyless cylindrical lock that drops into a standard 161 commercial prep — no controllers, no network drops, no budget meeting.

It drops into a standard 2-1/8 inch cross-bore on a 1-3/4 inch door, runs on four AA batteries, and carries the same Grade 1 cycle rating as a high-traffic commercial cylindrical lock. This is the SFIC Prep Less Core (B prefix) variant, so it's ready to accept a small format interchangeable core from your existing master key system the day it ships. The keypad is the primary daily-use entry; the SFIC cylinder is the override path for staff who carry a key and for emergency access. Cylinder override is included; this configuration has no separate deadbolt. This unit ships less core — choose your matching SFIC core keyed or uncombinated to complete the install.

Q: Will this drop into an existing 161 cylindrical prep without rework?
A: Yes. The B-AU-NTB623-NR uses standard ANSI 161 prep - 2-1/8 inch cross-bore, 1 inch edge bore, 2-3/4 inch backset on a 1-3/4 inch door. If your existing prep is correct for any commercial cylindrical lock, this will drop in. The 2-3/8 inch backset is available if your prep is shallow.
Q: What core does this take, and is it included?
A: SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core), 6 or 7 pin. The core is NOT included - this is a Less Core configuration. If you already run an SFIC system on this site, the cylinder cavity is ready for your existing core; if not, order an Accentra, Best, or compatible SFIC core separately.
Q: Does Generation 3 work with the same cloud software as the older Yale nexTouch?
A: Yes. Generation 3 retains compatibility with the Accentra (formerly Yale) cloud-based management software for code provisioning and audit trail download. Generation 3 added refinements to the touchscreen response and battery management; the management software path is the same.
Warranty
Accentra (formerly Yale Commercial), an ASSA ABLOY brand, provides a limited warranty on the nexTouch keypad lock against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use:
- Three (3) years — mechanical and electrical components
- One (1) year — finish
Coverage runs from date of original purchase by the original end-user purchaser and applies at the original installation site. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts at the manufacturer's discretion. Damage from abuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, exposure beyond the published environmental ratings, or use of non-Accentra replacement parts is not covered. Batteries are consumable and not covered under the warranty period.
How to claim: Contact Lock Depot for return authorization — we handle the manufacturer claim on your behalf and ship a replacement once the unit is received and confirmed defective.

Warranty Information
Accentra Limited Warranty
ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA (formerly Yale Commercial) warrants that its products sold under the Accentra trade name in the United States are free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service.
Coverage period for this product (nexTouch NTB series): three (3) years on mechanical and electrical components from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. Finishes (other than discontinued PVD finishes) carry a one (1) year limited warranty.
What is covered: defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the product or component part that proves defective during the warranty period.
What is NOT covered: defects or damage arising from improper installation, lack of or improper maintenance, improper storage, shipping and handling, corrosion, erosion, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized service, or use with unauthorized non-Accentra products or parts.
Conditions that void warranty: any modification made to the product, regardless of whether the modification causes or contributes to the alleged defect. All modifications are made at the risk of the party making the modification.
Cylinders and keying: all bittings must be originated or authorized by the Accentra Key Systems Department. Cylinders should be periodically lubricated based on environmental conditions; FLUID FILM is the manufacturer's recommended lubricant. Field-combinated cylinders require key cuts to Accentra bitting specifications and original Accentra components (pin tumblers, key blanks); use of non-original components may void coverage.
Implied warranties and damages: this warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Include your order number, the product or component part in question, and a brief description of the defect. Lock Depot will coordinate the warranty claim with the manufacturer on your behalf, including any required prior authorization, return shipping instructions, and inspection. Do not return product directly to the manufacturer without Lock Depot's authorization - unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
