The HPC SLC-4 is the change key for Sargent & Greenleaf 3-wheel 6700, R6720, R6722, R6730, R6725, R6732, R6735, 8400 and 8500. The change key goes into the change-key hole in the lock and lets you set the lock to a new combination.
Change keys are made for specific locks. Check the make and model on the lock before you order. A change key for a different lock will not turn, and you should never force it.

Q: Does this open the safe?
A: No. A change key only resets the combination, and only with the lock at its current combination and the door open. It does not bypass the lock.
Q: My lock is a different model. Will this work?
