HPC SUT-14 — Hollow Brass Plug Follower Set
Three hollow brass followers in the sizes you actually reach for. A follower is the tool that holds the top pins and springs in place while you slide the plug out of a cylinder to rekey it — push the plug out one end, the follower goes in behind it, and nothing springs across the bench. Anyone who has rekeyed a lock without a proper follower has chased a spring across the floor at least once. This set ends that.
These are hollow brass, which is the detail that earns the set its place in the kit: you can pin through the follower itself on certain jobs, and the hollow body keeps the whole set light. The three popular diameters cover the bulk of what comes across the bench — including the Corbin Russwin heavy-duty knob cylinder units, and the small follower handles cabinet locks, peanut cylinders, and pin-tumbler letterbox locks where a standard follower is too fat to enter.
The whole set nests — the three followers fit inside each other and the stack drops into a tube with blue end caps, so it travels as one compact piece instead of three loose rods rolling around the box. Brass so it won't mar the cylinder bore. A bench staple for any shop doing volume rekey work.
