Product Description
ND10S-SPA-626 Schlage ND Series Cylindrical Lever Lock — Passage Latch, Sparta Lever, Satin Chrome
Some doors never need to lock: a hallway, a closet, a room nobody keys. Hang a keyed lock on one of those and sooner or later somebody is locked out. The ND10 has nothing to lock. No key and no button. Either lever pulls the latch at all times, and the inside lever is always free.
This one is the Sparta lever on the Rhodes rose, in Satin Chrome. The latch is a spring latch. Pick your backset in the dropdown: 2-3/4" is standard, 2-3/8" is the other choice. Measure from the door edge to the center of the bore before you order.

Pro-Installer FAQ
Q: Can this one lock at all?
A: No. On function 10 the lever retracts the latch from either side at all times. For a push button, look at the ND40 privacy lock. For a key outside, start at the ND50.
Q: Can it be set up with request to exit?
A: Yes. Schlage builds it with Request to Exit if you specify RX under special options when ordering.
Q: Is this a Grade 1 lock?
A: Yes. The ND Series is ANSI/BHMA Certified A156.2 Grade 1, Series 4000. If the job does not call for Grade 1, Schlage's ALX Series is the Grade 2 cylindrical line.
