Product Description
QEL9827L-DT-16 3 313 RHR Von Duprin 98 Series Dummy Trim Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device in Duranodic Dark Bronze
The QEL9827L-DT-16 3 313 RHR is a Von Duprin 9827 Series Surface Vertical Rod exit device with L-16 Lever trim in Duranodic Dark Bronze (313/313), sized for 3' doors. Dummy Trim — non-functional outside pull for appearance. Provides a handle on the outside without any latch control. No cylinder required for this function.
Quiet Electric Latch Retraction — QEL motor-driven latch retraction provides quiet, ADA-compliant remote unlocking. 24VDC power required.
ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Hex key dogging standard. Factory set RHR, field reversible.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Surface rods take more abuse than concealed rods because they're exposed. On high-traffic openings, check rod guides and bottom bolt alignment on every service call. A loose rod guide is the #1 cause of 9827 field failures — five-minute fix that prevents a callback.
