Product Description
QEL99L-DT-06-F 3 26D LHR Von Duprin Fire Rated Quiet Electric Latch (QEL) 99 Series Lever Dummy Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device Satin Chrome
The QEL99L-DT-06-F 3 26D LHR is a Von Duprin 99 Series Rim exit device in Satin Chrome (US26D/626), sized for 3' doors. Dummy Trim — non-functional outside pull for appearance. Provides a handle on the outside without any latch control. No cylinder required for this function.
Quiet Electric Latch Retraction — QEL motor-driven latch retraction provides quiet, ADA-compliant remote unlocking. 24VDC power required.
Fire Rated — UL listed for use on fire-rated openings. Mechanical dogging is deleted per UL code on fire-rated models. Field-reversible handing.
Pro-Tip from Our Locksmiths: Rim devices are visible on the door interior, so they're typically used on utilitarian doors (back exits, service doors, storage rooms) rather than customer-facing entrances. But they're reliable, affordable, and quick to install — spec them when aesthetics aren't the priority.
