Small format interchangeable core systems run on one control key, and the padlocks on the gates should too. The ABUS 83WP-IC/53HB63 is the weather protected 83 padlock prepped for a small format IC core and sold less core. You drop in a core from your own system. HB63 is the tall 63 mm (2-1/2") shackle, for thick hasps, chain and gate latches.
It is the outdoor body of the 83 line, built for rain, grit and salt with a weather cover over the lock.

Q: Is there a shorter shackle?
A: Yes. The standard 83WP-IC/53 has the regular shackle; HB63 is the 2-1/2" high shackle.
