If the building runs Schlage large format interchangeable cores, this padlock lets the gates and boxes outside run on the same cores. The ABUS 83WP-IC/53 is the weather protected 83 padlock prepped for a Schlage large format IC core. It ships less core: you drop in a core from your own system with the control key.
The body is built for outdoor duty: hardened steel under a weather cover with drainage. The shackle is 5/16" diameter with about 1-1/16" vertical clearance.
