Schlage ND44S-OME-605 - ND-Series Grade 1 Cylindrical Lever Lock
The Schlage ND44S-OME-605 is an ND-Series Grade 1 cylindrical lever set - the heavy-duty workhorse Schlage builds for schools, hospitals, and high-traffic commercial doors. A full-size through-bolted chassis and a vandal-resistant rose stand up to abuse most locks cannot, and it installs on standard 2-3/4" backset cylindrical prep.
Privacy function: a push-button inside locks the outside lever for restrooms and patient rooms; an emergency tool releases it from the hall, and the inside lever always retracts the latch.
The ND-Series is independently certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 1 - the top durability tier for a cylindrical lock - and uses the Schlage C keyway, so it keys into an existing Schlage system.
