Securitron 390-16900 GL1 Spare Strike Assembly

This is the factory replacement swivel strike assembly for the Securitron GL1 Electromechanical Gate Lock. The strike is the receiver half of the GL1 system — it is the part the lock's hardened steel latch pin captures to hold the gate shut. If the original strike on a GL1 installation is damaged, worn, or knocked out of alignment, this is the exact part you order to bring the gate lock back into service without replacing the entire unit.

The GL1 is a heavy-duty gate lock built for swinging or sliding vehicle, pedestrian, and stock gates, indoors or out. It delivers 2,000 lbs of holding force and operates under preload. What makes the GL1 forgiving in the field is this strike: it is a self-aligning, swivel-type receiver that tolerates up to ±1/2 inch of misalignment, horizontally and vertically, from the centerline of the lock to the centerline of the strike. Gates sag. Posts shift with frost and traffic. The swivel strike absorbs that drift so the lock keeps seating cleanly instead of binding or missing.
