HPC AW-100 — Universal Air Wedge
The air wedge that opens the door without bending the door. On a vehicle lockout — or a residential one — the hard part isn't the lock, it's making a gap big enough to get a reach tool inside without prying metal and leaving a mark the customer will notice. This is how you do it clean. Slide the deflated wedge into the seam at the top corner of the door, squeeze the bulb pump, and it inflates to spread the gap evenly. Pop the release valve and it deflates just as fast when you're done.
This is the Universal size — built wider than HPC's original wedge so you get a bigger gripping surface for tight-fitting doors where a small wedge just slips back out. Made of sturdy vinyl that takes the pressure without splitting, with the bulb pump and release valve built in so there's nothing to attach. It's the same principle the pros have used for years, in a tool that holds up to daily use.
Works on the top corner of most car doors and on residential and commercial doors where you need a controlled gap for a reach or under-door tool. A wedge is gentler on the door than a pry bar and far less likely to leave damage — which is exactly what keeps a lockout call from turning into a complaint.
