HPC LW-100 — Lever Wedge
The design of some vehicles makes it difficult to insert an Air Wedge behind the door. The Lever Wedge makes it easy to still open these vehicle. It is designed with two pivot points that allow you to spread a door from its frame and then, with a simple push, wedge it open! Once in place the door can be separated farther with the HPC Lever Wedge's secondary lever operation. With this tool no other wedge is needed to hold the door in place after prying it open. An essential tool for every service vehicle! An HPC wedge for opening a gap at the door without prying the metal. On a lockout — vehicle or building — the hard part isn't the lock, it's making room to get a reach tool inside without leaving a mark the customer will notice. Slide the wedge into the seam, spread an even gap, run your tool, and back it out clean. A wedge is gentler on the door than a pry bar and far less likely to leave damage — which is exactly what keeps a lockout call from turning into a callback.
