HPC CW-23MC — Cutter Wheel, Replacement for 9160 & 9180
The HPC CW-23MC is a standard replacement cutter for HPC 9160 and 9180 Speedex machines. It is M2 tool steel and is the standard replacement cutter for the 9160 and 9180 Series machines.
The cutter decides what the key looks like: the cut angle, the flat at the bottom of each cut, and a clean edge with no burr. A dull or wrong-profile cutter gives you keys that bind or will not turn. Match the cutter to the key system and to your machine, and swap it when cuts start coming out rough.
